About the Role
Jobot is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a remote consulting engagement with a boutique AI consultancy. This role involves maintaining and enhancing cloud-based applications, developing backend functionality, supporting frontend development, and helping resolve production issues. You will work with Python, Node.js, React, TypeScript, and cloud platforms while collaborating with DevOps engineers on AWS deployments. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to custom software and AI-focused projects in a modern technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing cloud-based applications. Troubleshoot software bugs, implement fixes, and support production services. Develop backend functionality using Python and/or Node.js. Support frontend development using React and TypeScript. Collaborate with DevOps engineers on AWS-based deployments. Help maintain reliable web applications and APIs. Identify technical issues and apply effective debugging and problem-solving approaches. Required Qualifications 1–3+ years of relevant professional experience. Experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or React. Experience building or maintaining APIs and web applications. Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. U.S. citizenship and U.S. residency are required. Salary and Benefits The pay rate is $40–$50 per hour. Medical, dental, and vision benefits. Location and Work Arrangement This is a fully remote consulting contract open to candidates residing in the United States. The expected duration is 6–9 months, with the potential for an extension.
