Position OverviewThe General Manager of Operations will oversee the company's operational functions, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support the effective execution of business strategies. This role is responsible for strengthening operational processes, improving organizational efficiency, and ensuring that daily business activities align with the company's strategic objectives. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, the General Manager of Operations will help maintain a reliable operating framework that supports investment management activities, business growth, and service excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficient execution of business processes. Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and internal workflows. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve productivity and consistency. Establish performance metrics and monitor operational outcomes to support continuous improvement. Strategic Planning and Execution Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business objectives into actionable operational plans. Support the development and implementation of long-term operational strategies. Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements that enhance scalability and organizational effectiveness. Coordinate operational priorities to ensure alignment with the company's overall business goals. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate activities across operations, investment teams, finance, compliance, risk management, and external service providers. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure timely information sharing and effective decision-making. Monitor project milestones, operational deliverables, and departmental performance. Build collaborative working relationships with internal teams and external business partners. Financial and Operational Oversight Support operational budgeting, expense monitoring, resource allocation, and cost-control initiatives. Review operational reports and performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to support accurate reporting and effective financial administration. Promote responsible resource management and operational accountability. Risk Management and Compliance Coordination Support the implementation of internal controls and operational risk management procedures. Coordinate with compliance professionals to maintain appropriate operational documentation and reporting processes. Monitor operational workflows to identify potential risks and escalate significant issues to senior leadership. Support the consistent application of company policies and applicable regulatory procedures. Team Leadership and Development Provide leadership, direction, and operational support to team members.
