Geneva Lead - Techno/Functional Remote/EST-CST GC/USC Duration: 6-12months contract Primary Skills: SS&C Advent Geneva, Geneva Upgrade, RSL, Allvue Everest OMS, IVP Fund Master, Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Runbook We are seeking a senior Techno-Functional Lead to drive the enterprise upgrade of SS&C Advent Geneva to version 25.2 for our client. This individual will take full technical ownership of the upgrade lifecycle, oversee two dedicated offshore RSL developers, manage vendor deliverables with SS&C and network partner GSS, and construct the master Cutover Runbook for the April production deployment. Core Responsibilities Serve as the Technical Lead and Product Owner for the SS&C Advent Geneva v25.2 upgrade across Capital Markets (Credit, Structured Credit, and Hedge Funds). Build, rehearse, and execute the comprehensive April Cutover Runbook, including parallel testing, data reconciliation, cutover sequencing, and fallback protocols. Lead and direct two dedicated offshore RSL developers, assigning code remediation tasks, performing technical reviews, and ensuring report delivery timelines. Act as the primary technical counterweight and liaison to SS&C, translating vendor guidance and release notes into firm-specific architectural implementations. Coordinate with network and infrastructure partner GSS for connectivity, environment provisioning, and server readiness. Validate data integrity and interface contracts across upstream and downstream systems, including Allvue Everest (Order Management), IVP Fund Master (Enterprise Data Management), and Snowflake (Data Warehouse), while supporting concurrent AWS cloud initiatives. Structure parallel testing and reconciliation runs between Geneva instances to guarantee zero accounting variance across NAV, cash balances, P&L, and loan amortization schedules.
Required Qualifications
Proven track record leading or serving as technical lead on SS&C Advent Geneva version upgrades or major enterprise implementations within asset management, hedge funds, or private credit. Strong technical depth in relational databases, advanced SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and financial data integration pipelines. Hands on familiarity with Geneva architecture, database schemas, and RSL reporting logic (sufficient to review code and direct offshore developers). Functional knowledge of Capital Markets financial instruments, including bank loans, leveraged credit, fixed income, and fund accounting lifecycles (NAV, accruals, general ledger). Experience coordinating third-party software vendors (SS&C), managed service partners (GSS), and distributed offshore technical teams. Demonstrated ability to author and manage end-to-end go-live runbooks for mission-critical financial applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating Geneva with Allvue Everest (Order Management System) and IVP Fund Master (Master Data Management). Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and AWS cloud environments
