Global Pharmacovigilance Safety, Senior Manager- Obesity
For our client, we are seeking a Global Pharmacovigilance Safety, Senior Manager- Obesity to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead global safety activities for obesity-focused programs, with an emphasis on aggregate reporting, signal detection, and safety evaluation across clinical development. The position partners closely with affiliates, internal stakeholders, and clinical teams to strengthen safety oversight and support informed decision-making. It is well suited for a pharmacovigilance leader who can balance scientific rigor, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $140,799 – $190,492 annually
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning and writing of aggregate reports
- Organize liaison activities with affiliates and internal partners
- Support staff oversight regarding safety in clinical trials
- Review adverse events from clinical trials as needed
- Participate in developing safety-related data collection forms
- Conduct signal detection and data analysis for safety evaluations
- Prepare presentations on safety recommendations for decision-making bodies
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree with 2 years of pharmacovigilance experience
- Master's degree with 4 years of pharmacovigilance experience
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of pharmacovigilance experience
- Associate's degree with 10 years of pharmacovigilance experience
- High school diploma/GED with 12 years of pharmacovigilance experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in life science and Master's degree with 6 years of related experience
