Job Description
Role: Golang Developer Location: Remote – Candidate must be located in CA, NY, NJ, or WA Type: Contract – W2 Only Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer to join Walmart's engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications and services using Go/Golang. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Golang Build scalable and high-performance microservices and REST APIs Work with distributed systems and cloud-based applications Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and other technical teams Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and Agile development processes Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Golang / Go Backend development experience Experience building REST APIs / Microservices Strong understanding of software development and system design Experience with databases and distributed applications Experience with Git and modern software development practices Strong communication and problem-solving skills Location: Remote, but candidates must be physically located in California, New York, New Jersey, or Washington Employment Type: W2 Only
