The Sei Foundation is seeking a strategic Head of Finance (or Director of Finance, depending on experience) to lead its financial operations and strategy.This role is crucial for ensuring financial stability, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting Sei's rapid growth as the fastest layer 1 blockchain.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial PlanningDesign and implement financial strategies aligned with Sei's mission and growth objectives, supporting both short-term and long-term goals.Treasury ManagementManage treasury operations, including digital asset management, to maintain liquidity, optimize returns, and safeguard assets.Capital AllocationDevelop and oversee capital deployment strategies, evaluating ROI on investments in the Sei ecosystem.Budget ManagementOversee the Foundation's budget, ensure efficient resource allocation, and maintain transparency and accountability.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and establish financial controls to mitigate risks in an evolving regulatory environment.Partnership SupportCollaborate with the business development team to structure and assess partnerships, investments, and ecosystem funding opportunities, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic value.Leadership CollaborationPartner with leadership and vertical leads to provide financial insights, enabling data-driven decisions and strategic growth initiatives.Requirements7years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury management, with exposure to both traditional finance and blockchain or Web3 organizations preferred.Deep understanding of digital asset management, tokenomics, and the financial operations unique to decentralized organizations.Proven expertise in managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and driving financial planning in high-growth, dynamic environments.Experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.Strong collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams in a global, remote-first organization.J-18808-Ljbffr.
