Independent Contractor Therapist (Telehealth)

Independent Contractor Therapist (Telehealth & Part-Time) Abundant Pearl Counseling & Healing, PLLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Independent Contractor Therapist to provide virtual mental health services on a part-time basis. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families achieve emotional wellness and personal growth through high-quality, client-centered care. This is a fully remote telehealth position that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a supportive, growing practice. Position Summary The Independent Contractor Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy services through a secure telehealth platform. Clinicians will maintain their own schedules while delivering ethical, evidence-based care to clients.

Qualifications

Required Master's in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field Active clinical license in Illinois where services will be provided, including: LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) Or equivalent independently licensed mental health professional Professional liability insurance Experience providing psychotherapy to diverse populations Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills Ability to work independently and maintain ethical standards of practice Preferred Experience providing telehealth services Specialized training or experience in areas such as: Anxiety and depression Trauma-informed care Couples counseling Adolescent mental health Multicultural counseling CBT, EMDR, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities

Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling services via telehealth Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Collaborate with practice leadership as needed regarding client care and administrative matters Manage and maintain an agreed-upon caseload
