Inside Sales Rep/PA Submit Specialist

Position Overview
Serves as a patient’s advocate during the Prior Authorization approval process.

Responsibilities
Responsible for Prior Authorization submissions on various drug therapies, Prior Authorization follow up calls to plans for determinations, creating appeal letters (reviewing and revising Letter of Medical Necessities (LMN) for grammar, punctuation, and accuracy), submitting appeals and following up on determination
Responsible for collaborating with provider offices to secure electronic medical records (EMR) such as patient charts, clinical notes, and documentation for items requested by PA team to complete prior authorizationsKnowledgeable regarding Senderra’s community values and demonstrates them daily.Participate in staff meetings and conference calls as needed.Performs other incidental and related duties as required.
RequirementsEducation / Licensing Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years in pharmacy call center experience preferred.
having a Certified Pharmacy technician is a Plus
Working Conditions

Organizational Relationships
Reports to Inside Sales Supervisor and Inside Sales Manager
Expected hours: 40 per week
High school diploma or GED preferred; 3-5 years pharmacy call center experience preferred; Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus; accurate data entry, medical terminology, organizational skills; ability to sit and use phone/computer; minimal travel.
