State Farm Agent Team Member (Insurance Sales) Are you outgoing, customer-focused, and enjoy working with the public? Join Justin Slaughter State Farm’s team as an Agent Team Member and help customers protect what matters most—while building a rewarding career in insurance and financial services. This position is with Justin Slaughter State Farm. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete applicable licensing requirements and training programs required by the agent. What You’ll Do As an Agent Team Member, you will: Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers on insurance options Market and present appropriate State Farm Insurance and Financial Services Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up Provide limited prompt, accurate, friendly customer service, including: Inquiries about insurance availability and eligibility Coverage questions Policy changes and transfers Claim submission support Billing clarification What We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you’re: Enthusiastic and motivated to help customers with insurance and financial services Customer service driven, ethical, and honest Excellent at communication (written, verbal, and listening) Organized, detail-oriented, and proud of accurate, timely work Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to success Able to multi-task, work in a team environment, and relate effectively to customers Interested in achieving mutually agreed marketing goals Able to make presentations to potential customers Sales experience is preferred, such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing. Licensing Requirements You must have the applicable license, or be able to obtain the required licensing for the role. You must be able to successfully complete agent-required training and licensing.
