iSeries RPG/ RPG LE Developer III

Position: iSeriesRPG/RPGLE Developer III Contract Duration: Long Term Work Site: 100% Remote in USA (EST or CST) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced iSeries RPG/RPGLE Developer to support pharmacy claims processing systems in the LTC400 billing and census team. This role will be responsible for analyzing existing applications, developing required enhancements, supporting testing efforts, and ensuring compliance on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. KeyResponsibilities Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements to IBM i (AS/400) applications using RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL, and DB2. Update database structures, file specifications, and interfaces supporting pharmacy claims. Develop and maintain inbound and outbound EDI transaction processing. Perform impact analysis across applications, files, reports, interfaces, and downstream systems. Create technical design documentation, programming specifications, and implementation plans. Support system integration testing, troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and data anomalies. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
