About the Role
Yoh is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with trading experience for a remote position within the United States. This role requires extensive software design and development expertise, particularly in Java, Spring API development, Linux, and low-latency messaging systems. The successful candidate will contribute to scalable trading applications, collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver end-to-end trading workflows, and lead platform performance optimization. Experience with capital markets, brokerage systems, order management, and the FIX protocol is essential to the technical focus of this position.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop software solutions using Java, Spring APIs, and Linux. Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver reliable, end-to-end trading workflows. Lead platform performance tuning and optimization efforts. Develop and maintain scalable, distributed, asynchronous, and event-driven applications. Work with low-latency messaging systems, including 29West and Kafka. Apply low-latency design patterns and performance optimization techniques. Support applications involving capital markets, brokerage systems, and order management. Work with the FIX protocol and FIX engines. Use AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to support software development. Work with CI/CD tools and development platforms, including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy. Deploy applications to AWS or other cloud platforms. Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development. Strong expertise in Java, Spring API development, and Linux. Experience with low-latency messaging systems, such as 29West and Kafka. Proficiency in Java, Python, and Linux. Experience building scalable, distributed, asynchronous, and event-driven applications. Advanced knowledge of low-latency design patterns and performance optimization. Experience with capital markets or brokerage systems, particularly order management. Solid understanding of the FIX protocol and FIX engines. Proficiency in KDB+ or other time-series databases. Experience using AI developer assistance tools, such as GitHub Copilot. Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy. Hands-on experience deploying applications to AWS or other cloud platforms. Compensation & Benefits Estimated hourly pay range of $59.50–$85.00.
