Role Description This part-time remote Junior Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role at Le Meridien Kochi focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across hotel operations. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, preparing basic reports, and assisting in routine analysis of operational and guest-related data. The Junior Data Analyst will help create simple dashboards, monitor key performance indicators, and highlight trends or anomalies for review by senior team members. Collaboration with operations, finance, and marketing teams to clarify data requirements and communicate findings is expected, along with adherence to data quality and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities. Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics and an understanding of Data Modeling concepts. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for explaining data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Basic proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with data visualization tools is beneficial. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and follow established procedures. Entry-level experience or academic projects related to data analysis; a degree or coursework in statistics, data science, business, or a related field is an advantage. Interest in the hospitality sector and willingness to learn hotel-specific metrics and systems.
