Role Description The Legal Consultant at MantraCare will provide day-to-day legal support on issues related to healthcare, technology, data privacy, employment, and commercial contracts. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal documents and agreements, ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment across jurisdictions, and advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, product, and HR to support policy development, contract management, and risk assessment. The Legal Consultant will also assist with legal research, maintaining documentation, and contributing to best practices for global expansion. This is a part-time, remote role, offering flexible collaboration across time zones.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law across multiple jurisdictions. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and compliance-related documentation. Experience handling diverse Legal Issues in healthcare, technology, data protection, employment, and commercial matters. Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and Legal Assistance to non-legal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Advanced legal research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and strong written communication abilities. Experience working remotely and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams; ability to manage part-time workload effectively. Prior experience in health law, digital health, telehealth, or technology-driven companies is highly beneficial. Licensed attorney or legal qualification in a relevant jurisdiction; additional certifications in healthcare or data privacy (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) are a plus.
