Qualifications

Required: MLS from an ALA-accredited institution; familiarity with the principles of information literacy; recent experience and/or education in the provision of academic reference services; excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work collegially in a diverse, fast-paced environment; a strong service commitment; a willingness and ability to serve students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates with recent professional experience in reference or instruction in an academic setting.
