ABOUT US A Key Therapy is a mindfulness-based group practice in the Finger Lakes offering secure telehealth to adolescents, college students, young adults, and adults. We work with anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship and family stress, identity, and life transitions. Mindfulness is our specialty, not a side offering. THE ROLE We have openings for LMSWs who want to build their own practice within a supportive group. Your caseload can lean toward adolescents and young adults (roughly ages 14 to 26, from high school through college and the years right after), adults, or a mix. For younger clients, that includes working with parents and guardians where clinically appropriate and coordinating with schools and outside providers. We'll help you build your caseload. We fund your Psychology Today and Thriving Campus profiles for your first year, handle insurance credentialing, and route free consults to you. You do the rest: introduce yourself to referral sources, network, and get your name known. You will start at 15 to 20 sessions a week and build with your supervisor, with 20 sessions a week as full-time. YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU Hold a current NY LMSW in good standing Want to grow your own client base and are energized by it Enjoy networking and building relationships with referrers Like start-up energy: shaping systems, giving feedback, wearing more than one hat Have experience with adolescents, young adults, adults, or any mix, and are comfortable with families and guardians, including consent and confidentiality Hold current NY mandated reporter training or are willing to complete it Are interested in mindfulness-based practice (no formal contemplative background required) Write timely, clinically useful documentation (we teach our format) WHAT WE OFFER W-2 employment, not 1099: taxes withheld, disability and PFL covered, malpractice through the practice 60% of collections on practice-referred clients and 80% on clients you bring in yourself, rising to 70% and 85% at LCSW In-house supervision toward your LCSW, not billed back to you Insurance credentialing handled by the practice, and first-year funded directory profiles $20/hr for required non-clinical work such as onboarding and training, and every recorded hour is guaranteed at least minimum wage Breaks between clients, a sustainable caseload cap, and a culture of mindfulness practice.
