Role Description The Managing Director role is a full-time remote position responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction for Evolve Serviços e Soluções de Engenharia. This includes defining business objectives, overseeing operational performance, and ensuring that engineering services and solutions meet client expectations and industry standards. The Managing Director will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, manage key client relationships, and drive business development initiatives to expand the company’s market presence. Daily activities involve setting and monitoring financial targets, aligning projects with strategic priorities, supporting resource allocation, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and quality. The role also includes collaborating with stakeholders on long-term planning, risk management, and process improvements.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in engineering, technical services, consulting, or a related field, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and team management. Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, financial oversight, performance metrics, and sustainable growth planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships, lead distributed teams, and represent the organization with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects remotely, prioritize multiple initiatives, and make informed decisions under time constraints. Background in engineering or technical disciplines, with the ability to understand and guide service delivery, quality standards, and risk mitigation. Experience in business development, partnership building, and market expansion for professional or technical services. Comfort working in digital and remote collaboration environments, including use of project management and communication tools. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are beneficial.
