Marketing Data Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Data Engineer to support an internal marketing data team. This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrations, and analytics-ready datasets that support marketing measurement, reporting, customer insights, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering skills with direct experience working with marketing, campaign, CRM, or customer data. Candidates must have hands-on Salesforce experience along with strong Python and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for marketing, CRM, customer, and enterprise data Integrate data from Salesforce, APIs, marketing platforms, and other internal and external sources Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets and data models Build API-based and Python-driven data ingestion processes Support marketing analytics, campaign measurement, dashboards, reporting, and advanced modeling Monitor data quality, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and improve data reliability Develop testing and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency Partner with marketing, analytics, engineering, and business teams to understand data requirements Maintain technical documentation, metadata, and data lineage Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing data workflows Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field Direct experience working with marketing data or marketing analytics Hands-on Salesforce experience Strong Python and SQL skills Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines Experience with REST APIs and data integrations Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and data quality Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
