Maximus Federal is seeking a 100% Remote MD/DO for Psychiatry with Addiction Medicine We are seeking board-certified MD/DO physicians to perform remote Independent Medical Reviews for the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). Reviewers evaluate medical records and provide professional determinations involving medical necessity and experimental/investigational treatments. Must have board certification in Psychiatry with Addiction Medicine MUST be familiar with current ASAM guidelines Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted medical license
- Board certified
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Currently in active practice
- Approximately 24 hours/week of direct patient care
- California license preferred, but not required
- Must reside and complete reviews within the U.S.
Position Details:
- Fully remote
- No minimum case requirement
- Accept or decline cases based on availability
- Standard and expedited reviews available
- Typical pay ranges from $250–$400 per completed review, depending on case type and specialty- PAID PER CASE COMPLETED.
- Training and system access provided
