Medicaid Application Specialist – Remote

Expert Medicaid Consultants is seeking a full-time Medicaid Application Specialist to join our remote team. This position focuses on assisting with new Medicaid applications. The specialist will communicate with clients, collect required documentation, prepare application paperwork, maintain accurate case records, and follow up on outstanding items. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with preparing new Medicaid applications
• Contact clients to obtain required information and documentation
• Review documents for completeness
• Follow up on missing documents and outstanding items
• Maintain accurate case notes and update case statuses
• Organize electronic client files
• Communicate with clients and team members professionally
• Complete assigned follow-ups in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional phone and written communication skills
• Comfortable working with multiple cases at the same time
• Reliable and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable learning new computer systems
• Previous Medicaid, healthcare, insurance, eligibility, or administrative experience is preferred but not required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Compensation: $8.00–$9.00 per hour Training will be provided. Pay: From $8.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: Remote Apply To This Job
