Multilingual Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – 100% Remote Telehealth | California
Muscle Lab Physical Therapy is a growing telehealth physical therapy practice specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, including injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury cases. We are rapidly expanding our telehealth services nationwide and are seeking highly motivated, multilingual, licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in physical therapists who speak Spanish, Russian, and additional languages, as well as those who hold active PT licenses or PT Compact privileges in multiple states. Candidates fluent in three or more languages are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to apply! This is a 100% remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the potential for increased patient volume as our practice expands across the United States. Position Overview We are seeking licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) who can independently perform initial evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide follow-up care, and manage patient rehabilitation through our virtual telehealth platform. Our ideal candidate is multilingual, comfortable treating diverse patient populations, and interested in providing physical therapy services across multiple states. We are especially interested in candidates who:
- Speak three or more languages fluently.
- Are fluent in Spanish and/or Russian, in addition to English.
- Speak additional languages such as Armenian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, or other languages.
- Hold active PT licenses in multiple U.S. states.
- Already possess PT Compact privileges in multiple participating states.
- Are eligible and willing to obtain additional state licenses or PT Compact privileges.
- Have the flexibility to treat patients across multiple states through telehealth.
The more languages you speak and the more states you are authorized to practice in, the more competitive your application will be! This position is for licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) only. Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) will not be considered for this role. Physical Therapy Compact (PT Compact) Opportunities Muscle Lab Physical Therapy is actively expanding its telehealth network across multiple states. The Physical Therapy Compact (PT Compact) allows eligible physical therapists to obtain practice privileges in additional participating states without going through the traditional full licensure process in each state. Candidates who permanently reside in an active PT Compact participating state and meet the Compact's eligibility requirements may qualify to obtain additional state practice privileges. Existing PT Compact privileges are a major plus, but are NOT required to apply. Muscle Lab Physical Therapy is willing to cover approved expenses associated with obtaining and maintaining additional PT Compact privileges required for the position, including:
- Initial PT Compact privilege fees.
- Additional state practice privilege fees.
- Required state jurisprudence examination fees.
- Renewal fees for company-approved privileges.
Our administrative team will assist with coordinating the process. Important: Applicants must reside outside California. Preference will be given to applicants whose permanent residence and licensure meet PT Compact eligibility requirements. Candidates residing in non-Compact states may be considered if they already hold appropriate licenses in multiple states. PT Compact privileges are state-specific and do not automatically authorize nationwide practice. All providers must hold the appropriate authorization for each state where their patients are physically located.
