Network Security Engineer

Job Title: Network Security Engineer Experience: 3–7 Years Location: Remote, USA Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network monitoring, and security technologies. The candidate will be responsible for protecting enterprise networks, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring secure network connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure. Manage next-generation firewalls (NGFW), including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco. Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions. Implement and manage IDS/IPS technologies to detect and prevent network threats. Monitor network traffic, security events, and suspicious activities. Perform firewall rule reviews, access control, and security policy management. Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust security principles. Troubleshoot network connectivity and security-related incidents. Work with SIEM teams to investigate network security alerts. Conduct vulnerability assessments and support network security audits. Secure cloud network environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Maintain network security documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
