Role Description The Operational Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting and improving daily operational activities across the organization. This position involves coordinating workflows, maintaining process documentation, and ensuring that projects and initiatives are executed on time and in line with organizational standards. The Operational Specialist will analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and service quality. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, supporting sales and partner interactions, and assisting in building scalable operational systems that align with the company’s mission.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Operations Specialist in cryptocurrency, blockchain, Web3, fintech, or digital assets. Understanding of crypto exchanges, wallets, blockchain transactions, tokens, stablecoins, and DeFi. Experience managing daily operational processes for crypto products, platforms, or trading accounts. Ability to monitor deposits, withdrawals, transactions, settlements, balances, and operational exceptions. Experience coordinating with compliance, finance, customer support, and technical teams. Familiarity with KYC/AML procedures, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention. Strong attention to detail when handling financial data, account permissions, and sensitive information. Experience preparing operational reports, reconciling transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Proficiency with spreadsheets, ticketing systems, CRM platforms, and blockchain explorers. Ability to investigate failed, delayed, or suspicious transactions and escalate issues appropriately. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or rotating shifts, when required.
