These are not cold prospects. In many cases, the family has already expressed interest in a specific puppy or breed, but for one reason or another, the conversation did not move forward. This work is not about convincing someone to purchase a puppy. It’s about reconnecting, understanding where the family is in their decision, answering questions, providing clarity about the process, helping remove uncertainty, and making sure they have the information and support they need to make the right decision for their family. Sometimes that means helping a family confidently move forward. Sometimes it means recognizing that the timing or fit is not right. We are dealing with living, breathing animals and an important decision for every family. Pressure selling has no place in this work. Success comes from effort, thoughtful follow-up, education, responsiveness, and trust. PuppySpot will make available a pool of recent PuppySpot inquiries that are no longer being actively worked by our inbound team. The opportunity is created by consistently reconnecting with these families, staying engaged when circumstances change, and being there to help when they are ready.
