LegalPeople is hiring a Paralegal for the in-house legal team of a large, publicly traded company in the energy and infrastructure sector. The team is growing quickly. You’ll support complex, time-sensitive financing transactions, working closely with attorneys and subject matter experts in a fast-paced, collaborative group. What you’ll do
- Draft and revise transaction and legal documents based on attorney input
- Support financing deals from start to close, including closing deliverables and deadlines
- Help with investor due diligence: find, organize and review project documents for completeness and to meet disclosure requirements
- Do legal and transaction-related research
- Contribute to special projects across the legal department
What you bring
- 5+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in finance transactions (project finance, corporate finance, lending or similar). Energy experience isn’t required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization, and the ability to juggle several deals at once with limited supervision
- Clear communication, and you stay steady under pressure
- Paralegal certification preferred
