Part-Time Online ESL Teacher — Remote (US East Coast Preferred)

We are looking for a part-time online ESL teacher to provide remote, one-on-one and/or small-group English tutoring to students in Asia. Schedule and workload: - Remote work with flexible morning hours (US East Coast time). US East Coast mornings align well with evening class times in Asia. - The role starts at just a few hours per week, with the expectation of ramping up over time as student load grows. - This is an ongoing role with long-term potential. Location preference: - Based in the United States, with a preference for candidates on the US East Coast. What you will do: - Teach English online to ESL learners in live, interactive lessons. - Adapt lessons to students' levels, goals, and progress. - Communicate clearly and reliably about scheduling and availability. Preferred qualifications: - Native English speaker with a standard American accent preferred — our lessons focus on American English pronunciation and conversation, so students learn from a native model. - ESL certification preferred (TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA). - Relevant college degree preferred (Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field). - Experience teaching English online to ESL learners preferred. - Reliable internet connection, webcam, and a quiet teaching space suitable for online lessons.
