Compensation & Net Profit Allocation This is an independent contractor (1099) performance-only commission role with no base salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed compensation. Net Realized Profit Baseline: Commissions are calculated strictly as a percentage of Collected Net Realized Profit—defined as gross contract revenue collected from the client, minus all direct Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), destination freight/shipping, packaging costs, and all third-party purchase order financing, factoring, or capital facility fees. Sourcing commissions are calculated and distributed exclusively from the remaining net cash pool after all fulfillment costs and capital partners have been satisfied in full.Commission Tiers: Commission starts at 5% of Apex’s Net Realized Profit on qualifying awarded contracts sourced by the associate. A 10% tier is available for associates demonstrating consistent reliability, fast turnaround times, and independent execution on high-volume assignments.Pre-A ssignment Written Allocation: Your commission percentage and assignment scope are agreed upon in writing before outreach begins. If multiple associates contribute to sourcing different line items on a single award, the allocated commission pool is split proportionally under those written terms.Disbu rsement Trigger: 50% of the commissions are disbursed within seven (7) business days after contract award, independent verification of supplier pricing/terms, and the successful clearance of external contract funding. Payout does not require waiting for a final settlement.Perfo rmance Reality: Contract awards and funding are not guaranteed. Solicitations that are canceled, non-awarded, or priced out by competitors earn no commission. Lead times between sourcing and agency award decisions vary by procurement office.
