Emerald Cut Productions LLC is an independent entertainment company developing an ambitious slate of approximately ten feature films and several emerging intellectual properties and vertical series. Our projects span romance, romantic comedy, character-driven and animated comedy, psychological drama, supernatural and paranormal mystery, investigative entertainment, documentary, and innovative AI-assisted digital media. Our creative philosophy is that meaningful stories do not have to be serious—and serious subjects do not have to be humorless. Behind our comedy and original characters are observations about human behavior, relationships, self-discovery, and the unexpected complications of life. Across genres, we aim to create emotionally engaging, psychologically insightful entertainment that can make audiences laugh, feel, reflect, and see familiar situations in a different light. We are expanding our production team and seeking experienced, resourceful, hands-on Producers who can turn original concepts into compelling, production-ready entertainment. We want professionals who combine creative instincts with practical execution—not people whose contribution ends at a meeting or a set of notes. THE OPPORTUNITYWe seek Producers who can take meaningful responsibility for advancing projects from development toward production. ECP is a growing independent company with a lean, collaborative team; Producers must be willing to take ownership of real work across multiple disciplines and, where authorized, more than one project. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include: Lead or coordinate project development, packaging, preproduction, and production planning. Translate concepts, treatments, and scripts into actionable production plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate writers, directors, editors, animators, AI production specialists, and other creative collaborators. Develop and oversee pitch materials, sizzle reels, proof-of-concept presentations, and production assets. Identify practical production resources, talent, vendors, and solutions to production obstacles. Conduct production-related research and support preparation for production partnerships and commercialization. Keep assigned projects moving through clear communication, organized follow-through, milestone tracking, and accountability. Individual responsibilities, deliverables, and assignments—including work on multiple projects—are defined through ECP's written agreements and Project Authorizations. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Meaningful professional experience producing feature films, scripted or unscripted television, documentary, animation, digital media, or comparable entertainment. Demonstrated responsibility for development or production deliverables—not simply an advisory or supervisory title. Ability to coordinate creative collaborators, solve problems, manage priorities, and deliver work with minimal supervision. Strong organization, communication, sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach. An appreciation for romance, comedy, psychologically compelling stories, mystery, and meaningful character-driven entertainment. Experience with AI-assisted production, vertical series, independent film packaging, financing, or distribution is welcome but not required. You do not need to specialize in every format; ECP values complementary skills and people who know how to get things done. COMPENSATION & PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITYEmerald Cut Productions LLC is a growing independent production company currently in its pre-financing development stage. Compensation for authorized development services is negotiated and deferred, with no upfront cash payments currently available. Deferred fees are tracked and become payable as qualifying funds become legally and contractually available through project financing, sales, licensing, distribution, monetization, or other approved sources, according to the applicable agreement. Payments may be made in stages, and timing is not guaranteed. For qualified Associate Producers and Producers, additional compensation opportunities may include separately negotiated production fees, project-specific backend participation, and performance-based incentives tied to successful financing, distribution, licensing, or commercial monetization. These opportunities depend on the individual's role, responsibilities, contributions, and applicable project financing. No additional compensation or commercial outcome is guaranteed. Engagements are generally non-exclusive independent contractor arrangements, with mutually agreed availability, responsibilities, and deliverables.
