About the Opportunity: The PRODUCT MANAGER leads the strategy, delivery, and management of a custom-developed product within a federal program portfolio. This role ensures alignment of product objectives with stakeholder needs and technical execution to support mission-critical outcomes. The position involves overseeing project plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing vendor integrations, and maintaining adherence to quality standards. The Product Manager contributes by driving the successful implementation and operational oversight of the product throughout its lifecycle. Responsibilities: Create integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new product development Manage multidisciplinary project teams and supervise professional and technical staff Review, manage, and control project status, schedules, and budgets Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals Develop monitoring mechanisms for project progress and problem solving Direct project design, implementation, and testing according to objectives Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment Coordinate tasks among team members to achieve results Manage vendor tasks and review vendor deliverables Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables Conduct project meetings and handle tracking, analysis, and reporting Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent Proven experience as a Product Manager overseeing custom software development Ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional teams Skill in gathering and translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements Understanding of product lifecycle management for enterprise or mission-critical systems Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders Experience managing vendor or contractor teams and evaluating their delivery Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance Preferred: experience with federal programs, human-centered design, modern tech stacks, backlog management tools, compliance standards, healthcare systems, and remote teams Pay Range and Compensation Package: USD 110,000.00 to USD 125,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
