QA Engineer/SDET Remote / Telecommute Jobs

Description: Hybrid in Ashburn, VA or Gaithersburg, MD Our client seeks Testing and Quality Assurance professionals who develop, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and perform manual and automated testing for software applications. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, etc.
• Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments.
• Identify and document defects, tracking them through defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into testable conditions.
• Provide technical support during production issues and help with root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, etc.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence.
