Sr Apigee Engineer 100% Remote Full Time ITAR role. Required Skills 1. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE Hybrid, Apigee X 2. Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures 3. Experience with tools like Postman, JMeter etc. 4. Good understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST), OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching 5. Good understanding of implementation of CI/CD pipeline for Apigee 6. Expertise in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling and management 7. Experience with containerization 8. Experience with any Source Control Tools such as Bitbucket, Git Hub etc. 9. Experienced with languages such as Python, Go, Bash and/or PowerShell. 10. Solid understanding of AGILE principals and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM and SAFe frameworks 11. Extensive hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms such as APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X. 12. Hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform) building effective cloud technology solutions 13. Experience in cloud architecture (cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing) Roles & Responsibilities Implements Enterprise API and Integration platforms strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of ApigeeX infrastructure architecture Perform cert renewals and update Google Cloud Platform secret managers for deploying the certs using Automation. Perform deployment of APIGEE X using existing automation written in Terraform Enhance automation scripts (Terraform, Python, Ansible) to support APIGEEX upgrades Perform periodic capacity planning/infrastructure expansion for APIGEEX Monitoring, Alerting, Troubleshooting of APIS deployed on APIGEEX Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the infrastructure on which the APIGEEX are deployed Works closely with the API and Integration platforms architect(s) on activities such as API design, implementation, testing, production deployment and support Able to work with 3rd party logging tools Splunk, ApigeeX analytics and generate daily and weekly reports Able to understand and work on automations on Google cloud platform Able to work and develop pipelines using Azure DevOps.
