RDK-B Developer

Senior RDK-B Firmware Engineer Remote We are looking for an experienced Senior RDK-B Firmware Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded software for broadband and cable gateway devices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with RDK-B, C/C++, Linux, networking protocols, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain RDK-B firmware for broadband gateway/CPE devices. Design, develop, debug, and optimize embedded software using C/C++. Work with Embedded Linux and RDK-B components. Develop and integrate features across RDK-B modules and system services. Work with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and VLAN. Troubleshoot firmware, system, networking, and performance issues. Analyze logs, core dumps, crashes, and memory/CPU issues. Integrate and customize RDK-B components for different hardware platforms. Collaborate with hardware, QA, DevOps, and system engineering teams. Support firmware releases, testing, deployment, and production issues. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with RDK-B. Excellent programming skills in C/C++. Strong experience with Embedded Linux. Knowledge of Broadband CPE / Gateway / DOCSIS platforms. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and VLAN. Experience with Linux debugging and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Git, GDB, Make/CMake, and shell scripting. Experience with embedded software development and system integration.
