About The Role The role owns full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering, product, and data hires across a fast-growing technology company, from intake through offer close. You will be the first hire for many of the teams shaping the product — partnering directly with engineering leaders to build pipelines of backend, infrastructure, and machine-learning talent in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and closing candidates Partner with engineering managers and executives to define role requirements, calibrate on profiles, and set realistic hiring timelines Proactively source passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and Boolean/X-ray search across niche talent pools Run structured interview processes and debriefs, ensuring hiring managers and interviewers stay aligned and panels move quickly Own the candidate experience end-to-end — clear communication, fast feedback, and high offer-acceptance rates Track and report funnel metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline conversion using Greenhouse or a similar ATS Advise on compensation benchmarks and market trends to keep offers competitive without overreaching band What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency, with at least 2 years hiring software engineers or technical talent Expert-level sourcing skills: LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and creative channels beyond job boards Hands-on experience with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar) and structured interviewing practices Fluency in technical role fundamentals — able to credibly screen for backend, data, and infrastructure skill sets Strong stakeholder management; comfortable pushing back on hiring managers and managing competing priorities Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience hiring at a venture-backed startup through rapid scale, or prior recruiting for AI/ML and platform engineering roles
