Role Description The Regional Chief Financial Officer is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial activities within an assigned region. This position manages regional financial planning and budgeting, supervises preparation and analysis of financial statements, and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external partners. The Regional CFO will develop and implement financial strategies, monitor performance against key metrics, and provide analytical insights to support investment decisions and operational improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding local finance teams, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, optimizing cash flow and capital allocation, and partnering with senior leadership to drive regional growth and profitability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to assess performance, evaluate risk, and support strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements to oversee preparation, review accuracy, and ensure adherence to standards. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Reporting to deliver clear, timely reports to leadership, investors, and regulatory bodies. Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably at regional or multi-country level. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven ability to lead distributed or remote teams and collaborate across functions and geographies. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis tools. Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly beneficial.
