Regional Vice President of Procurement

Role Description The Regional Vice President of Procurement is a full-time remote role responsible for leading procurement strategy and operations across an assigned region. This position oversees supplier selection, evaluation, and development to ensure reliable sourcing for simulation technologies and related services. The role includes managing regional procurement policies, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to align with quality, cost, and delivery goals. The Regional Vice President of Procurement collaborates closely with finance, operations, and technical teams to forecast demand, optimize supply chain processes, and mitigate risk. The position also involves building strong internal and external relationships, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to ethical and compliance standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to oversee regional sourcing and logistics. Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management to secure favorable terms and manage long-term agreements. Experience in Supplier Development to build, assess, and improve vendor capabilities and performance. Proven leadership experience in regional or global procurement roles, ideally within technology, manufacturing, or related sectors. Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and develop procurement strategies that support organizational goals. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across culturally diverse teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage. Comfort working in a remote, digitally enabled environment and collaborating across time zones.
