[Remote] Account Executive

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an Account Executive to develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, identify new business opportunities, and work with the operations team to deliver HVAC solutions. The role manages client accounts and the sales cycle while supporting customer service and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of commercial client accounts
• Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide tailored HVAC solutions
• Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
• Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, service) to ensure project success
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Continual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry
• Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC needs

Skills

• 10+ years of Rotating Equipment Service experience
• Ability to travel
• Proven experience in B2B sales
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into client-friendly solutions
• Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions, emails, and business correspondence
• Strong written communication skills are essential for drafting professional emails, reports, and internal documents
• The role requires the ability to clearly present information in one-on-one and small group settings with employees, customers, and vendors
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Comfortable working with percentages, ratios, and basic financial calculations
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry is necessary for tracking expenses, reports, and various administrative tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow written, verbal, or visual instructions accurately
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
• Attention to detail and sound judgment are critical, particularly when handling confidential information
• Ability to establish and grow relationships with customers through effective verbal and written communication
• Dedicated to the needs of the customers, manufacturers and peers and has the patience to actively listen to all business partners
• Able to solve problems and skillfully negotiate with a minimum of noise while managing stress
• Demonstrates integrity and trust through appropriate directness and truthfulness
• Ability to understand personal strengths and weaknesses, seek feedback and improve upon shortcomings
• HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction industry experience is highly preferred
