[Remote] Account Executive - Employee Benefits

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gallagher Benefit Services is hiring an Account Executive to manage a group of client accounts of moderate to high complexity and deliver efficient, high-quality service. The role focuses on client strategy, renewals, account growth, retention, financial management, and coordinating teams to deliver client work.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing accounts of increasing complexity
• Growing revenue by successfully counseling clients on additional business opportunity via cross-selling & up-selling
• Driving Client Service Cycle (Strategy, Renewals, Open Enrollment)
• Acts as the client lead, driving strategy
• Financial management of client accounts, presenting annual projections, renewals and discussing contribution strategies
• Delivering high quality client service consistent with AJG operational standards and practices, and achieving operational productivity and performance metrics consistently
• Ability to manage internal team to ensure timely execution of quality client deliverables
• Growing and profitably managing an assigned group of client accounts successfully
• Building relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing customer care
• Seeking referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects, and securing existing business and actively driving the sale of additional services
• Supporting the business priorities of Branch Managers
• May offer training, development, and/or supervision to lower-level staff

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years' client service and/or claims management experience
• Must hold appropriate licensing as required
• Proficiency necessary in Microsoft office applications and in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality
• Previous experience in managing client relationships is essential
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Is willing to go the "Extra Mile" to achieve results that benefit the client, the Branch and Gallagher
• Ability to develop professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Insurance knowledge
• Life and Health License, as well as solid financial acumen
