Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with executives, marketing leaders, operators, and business owners
- Lead strategic conversations, presentations, QBRs, planning sessions, and difficult client conversations

- Translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities
- Know when to make a decision, involve a functional expert, coach another team member, or escalate to agency leadership
- Analyze performance across lead generation, acquisition, conversion, and revenue
- Confidently discuss spend, CPL, CPA/CAC, conversion rates, ROAS, lead quality, pacing, and location-level performance
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks before the client points them out

- Strategic thinking and business judgment
- Client and executive communication
- Meeting and presentation leadership
- Data interpretation and Performance Marketing fluency
- Prioritization and expectation setting
- Proactive planning and problem solving
- Assess business impact, determine what is genuinely time-sensitive, set realistic expectations, and coordinate with internal teams before committing their resources
- Understand client scopes, manage expectations around timelines and resources, and confidently navigate conversations involving performance, budget, scope, and changing priorities
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships when doing so creates genuine business value—from new locations and additional media investment to CRM, Creative, PR, market intelligence, or new channels
- Ensure your accounts maintain clear responsibilities, accurate timelines, documented decisions, strong meeting preparation, reliable follow-through, clean internal handoffs, and visibility into risks and blockers
- Build trusted relationships with assigned clients
- Deeply understand their businesses, objectives, scopes, and key stakeholders
- Become fluent in Brightside's approach across Performance, CRM/Lifecycle, Creative, Analytics, and market intelligence
- Confidently lead client meetings and strategic discussions

- Begin coaching Account Managers through real client situations
- Demonstrate the ability to turn marketing performance into actionable strategy

- Develop Account Managers who can independently handle increasingly sophisticated work
- Reduce unnecessary executive involvement in routine account matters
- Elevate strategic planning and client recommendations across the Account team
- Be recognized as someone who makes the people and accounts around them better
