Remote Position

[Remote] Agentforce Salesforce Administrator - (Remote-United States)

🌍 Remote Β· United States πŸ’Ό Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EP Wealth Advisors is seeking a hands-on Senior Agentforce Engineer to build and support AI-powered advisor and client experiences on Salesforce. The role designs secure Agentforce agents, workflows, integrations, and data connections, and partners with business and technology teams to test, govern, and continuously improve them in a regulated wealth-management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Agentforce agents, including instructions, actions, decision logic, prompt templates, guardrails, escalation paths, and human handoffs
  • Translate business processes into reusable agent capabilities and multi-step workflows, selecting the right combination of declarative configuration, Flow, Apex, and custom actions
  • Build agents focused on advisor and client outcomes - reducing operational friction, improving accuracy and data quality, increasing capacity, and enabling more timely and personalized interactions
  • Continuously refine agent behavior based on production results, user feedback, business outcomes, and evolving Salesforce capabilities
  • Design and implement secure integrations between Agentforce, Salesforce, and approved enterprise systems using REST APIs, Salesforce integration capabilities, middleware, and other approved patterns
  • Develop custom Agentforce actions and supporting Apex or integration logic when standard platform capabilities are insufficient
  • Engineer resilient end-to-end workflows with appropriate authentication, validation, exception handling, retries, transaction integrity, and human intervention for sensitive or transactional processes
  • Partner with Salesforce and platform engineering teams on reusable integration patterns that support agentic workflows across EP Wealth's technology ecosystem
  • Partner with the AI & Data Platforms team to define data requirements and configure Data 360, retrieval, grounding, permissions, and Salesforce-side access patterns for agent use
  • Ensure agents use trusted, appropriately authorized data sources and that data quality, identity, freshness, and source-of-truth requirements are understood before deployment
  • Support Salesforce data processes and connectivity while avoiding duplicative data pipelines; partner with data engineering and governance teams where enterprise data products or upstream remediation are required
  • Establish repeatable testing and evaluation practices for agents, including expected behavior, edge cases, ambiguous requests, missing data, permission boundaries, downstream failures, escalation, and human handoff
  • Build and maintain regression test coverage as prompts, actions, workflows, models, integrations, and underlying data change; partner with Product and business teams on production acceptance criteria
  • Monitor agent logs and execution behavior for reliability, action failures, response quality, performance, and user experience, and use the findings to drive ongoing improvement
  • Troubleshoot production issues across prompts, Agentforce configuration, Flow, Apex, permissions, integrations, grounding, and data; follow disciplined source-control, deployment, release-validation, and technical-documentation practices
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Data Governance to ensure Agentforce solutions meet EP Wealth standards for data access, privacy, authorization, auditability, records, and human oversight
  • Design explicit guardrails, approval steps, escalation paths, and controls for higher-risk use cases, particularly workflows that take actions or interact with sensitive client information
  • Ensure agent interactions, data access, decisions, and actions can be appropriately logged, monitored, reviewed, and audited
  • Partner with Product Managers, business process owners, advisors, operations teams, and technology partners to shape high-value AI use cases and translate business requirements into technically feasible agent designs
  • Participate in discovery, solution design, demos, user validation, and iterative feedback throughout the product lifecycle rather than treating Agentforce as a stand-alone technical implementation
  • Define and track meaningful success measures - including adoption, quality, advisor capacity, operational efficiency, client experience, and business outcomes - and use them to prioritize improvements

Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform engineering, development, or advanced configuration experience, ideally in Financial Services Cloud or another complex enterprise Salesforce environment
  • Hands-on experience building Agentforce agents or comparable Salesforce AI, conversational AI, intelligent workflow, or bot solutions
  • Strong Salesforce Flow experience, including record-triggered and screen flows, process automation, validation rules, and complex business-process design
  • Working proficiency with Apex, including the ability to build or modify custom actions and integration logic when declarative capabilities are insufficient
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems; familiarity with middleware and event/integration patterns is valuable
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce object models, security, permissions, sharing, data architecture, and production troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Agentforce concepts including instructions, actions, prompt templates, grounding, escalation, human handoff, and agent performance monitoring
  • Experience with Data 360 or similar approaches for enterprise data unification and AI grounding, with an understanding of data quality and governed access requirements
  • Experience with source control and release tooling such as Git/GitHub, Gearset, or comparable platforms, along with software testing, regression testing, and production validation practices
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Data, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Operations, and business teams in an Agile or iterative delivery model
  • Salesforce certifications such as Agentforce Specialist, Platform Developer, Admin/Advanced Admin; MuleSoft or other enterprise integration experience; familiarity with OmniStudio, AI/LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, or agent observability; and experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or another regulated industry
