[Remote] Application Security Engineer (503112)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDR is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join one of its top clients. The role focuses on building and implementing an application security and DevSecOps program, integrating security into development workflows, managing testing and remediation, and partnering with developers to strengthen secure coding practices across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement the organization’s application security / DevSecOps program
• Integrate application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
• Manage penetration testing and vulnerability testing processes
• Implement and manage static and dynamic code analysis
• Manage the full application security lifecycle from testing through remediation
• Partner with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilities
• Train developers and establish secure coding/application security practices across the organization

Skills

• Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone
• 7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related role
• Strong secure coding and code review experience with .NET and Salesforce/Apex
• Hands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including security configuration and access controls
• CI/CD security experience integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps workflows
• Hands-on experience with application security testing tools and methodologies, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security
