Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) is hiring an Associate Director of Operations to advance its New England chapter’s mission and fundraising goals. The role focuses on donor engagement and stewardship, event execution, strategic plan implementation, team initiatives, and regional Board operations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Executive Director on strategic plan implementation for achievement of chapter’s annual objectives and fundraising goals
- Oversee donor stewardship, including donor recognition and marketing/communications
- Coordinate and execute chapter events across New England including annual Soldier Tribute
- Manage team initiatives and assist with regional Board operations
- Occasional evening/weekend programming
Skills
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in fundraising, stewardship and event planning/coordination
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and discretion
- High-level proficiency with fundraising software, CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge
- Familiarity with the New England community
