[Remote] Associate Project Manager II

Ryder is hiring an Associate Project Manager II to direct and coordinate assigned enhancement projects, ensuring their goals, outcomes, and budgets align with company strategy. The role leads project planning, execution, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio with multiple enhancement projects at a time. Constantly maintains pipeline and appraises functional team of upcoming projects
• Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of assigned enhancement projects
• Develops full scale project plans. Defines project tasks, resource requirements, and facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. Forecast requirements and prepares budgets
• Presents reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions. Manages project budget, schedules, and timelines. Constantly monitors and reports on the progress of the project stakeholders. Manages project performance, minimizes project risks, and establishes and maintains good relationship with all project members and stakeholders
• Evaluates and assesses project results
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• U.S.\Bachelor's degree required in business administration, finance, information technology, or similar field
• Or, additional four (4) years of required experience
• Three (3) years or more experience in project management
• Project management skills
• Ability to listen, write, and speak effectively. Inform, explain, and give instructions
• Ability to quickly respond to changing assignments, work settings and priorities
• Ability to manage conflict and reconcile differences
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments

• Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines

• Ability to find solutions to problems using creativity, reasoning, and past experiences along with the available information and resources

• Ability to present information and ideas clearly and understandably to others
• Knowledge of all aspects of project management including but not limited to theory, practical aspects, techniques and tool; intermediate level
• Knowledge of setting and managing budgets; intermediate level
• Knowledge of project management software; beginner level
• Knowledge of strategic planning, risk management, and change management; beginner level
