[Remote] Atlassian Consultant / Atlassian Project Manager / Atlassian Business Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amtex Systems Inc is seeking Atlassian professionals across project management, business analysis, and solution consulting. The roles deliver Atlassian implementations and customizations, gather and translate business requirements, and design and develop Forge applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Atlassian implementation, migration, and customization projects
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Manage project plans, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, administrators, and consultants
• Track project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders
• Manage Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release planning
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and business objectives
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, and business requirement documents (BRDs)
• Analyze existing Jira and Confluence processes and recommend improvements
• Configure and support Jira workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and automation
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate solutions against business requirements
• Support UAT, defect tracking, user training, and change management
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain custom Atlassian Cloud applications using Atlassian Forge
• Develop Forge applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and relevant Atlassian APIs
• Build custom Jira and Confluence apps, extensions, modules, and workflow solutions
• Integrate Atlassian products with third-party applications and external REST APIs
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, data access, and app permission controls
• Work with Forge CLI, Forge UI Kit, Custom UI, and Atlassian platform APIs
• Develop custom dashboards, forms, reports, automation features, and business-specific functionality
• Troubleshoot application issues, debug code, optimize performance, and maintain application reliability
• Manage app deployments, environments, testing, and version control using Git
• Follow Atlassian Forge development guidelines and security best practices

Skills

• Seeking an experienced Atlassian professional with expertise in project management, business analysis, and Atlassian solution consulting
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud products, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Atlassian Forge
• Strong technical skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and custom app development using the Atlassian Forge platform
• Ability to gather business requirements, manage project delivery, design technical solutions, and implement custom Atlassian integrations and applications
• Strong experience with Atlassian Cloud products: Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
• Hands-on experience developing custom apps using Atlassian Forge
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Forge UI Kit and Custom UI
• Experience with Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, and automation rules
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and software development lifecycle practices
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years in Atlassian consulting, project management, business analysis, or solution delivery
• Hands-on Forge and TypeScript development experience
• Atlassian Cloud implementations, workflow customization, integrations, and Agile delivery
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations and enterprise implementations
• Knowledge of Jira Service Management, Assets, and ITSM processes
• Experience with React, Node.js, and modern web development frameworks
• Familiarity with Atlassian Forge storage, resolvers, triggers, and events
• Experience with Atlassian Marketplace app development and publishing
• Atlassian certifications in Jira administration, project management, or Agile methodologies
• Experience working with distributed teams and enterprise clients
