Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The hiring client is a confidential IT services and consulting company seeking an AWS AI Engineer. The role focuses on developing AI and software modernization solutions, contributing to technical design and delivery, and supporting team members through collaboration, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities
- Develop MVP User Stories (Re-usable components/ API’s etc)
- Support backlog creation, prioritization, and Story mapping
- Support in technical design and solutioning
- Ability to work across tiers – Development, APIs, databases
- Ability to utilize DevOps CI/CD pipeline, create/configure build and deploy jobs
- Experience working in XP and pair programming model and understands and performs TDD
- Responsible for assigned task delivery and quality and knowledge transfer through daily pairing
- Motivated and energetic engineers who are passionate about software modernization
- Must be able to clearly communicate with team members and leadership
- Participate in paired programming and XP development
- Strong ability to work independently when required
- Turn complex ideas into manageable pieces of work
- Hands-on, Individual contribution and Mentor other developers in team
- Support team members on troubleshooting

- Key technology skill sets – Gen AI, Agentic AI, AWS Bedrock, Python, Prompt Designing, Advanced RAG Architecture, LLM, Data Engineering, AI Model Performance Management
- AWS Services: Amazon Bedrock, Agent Core Platform, AWS Strands, SageMaker, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and other core AWS services like Redshift, Aurora Postgres, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch
- Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and its data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Vector & Database Systems: Familiarity with vector databases or RDS Vector Store for RAG implementations
- Agentic Frameworks: Proven experience with orchestration tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex for building autonomous agents
- 10+ years of exp in AI system design, ML, NLP with 1-2 years in Gen AI or Agentic AI (preferably 12-15 yrs)
- Agentic AI, Gen AI, Prompt Designing, Advanced RAG Architecture, LLM
- AWS core services including Bedrock
- Python, PySpark
