[Remote] Backend Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atlassian is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to deliver improvements for its engineering teams. The role builds REST APIs, configures backend service monitoring, develops CI/CD pipelines and content management system integrations, and creates reliable features and services.

Responsibilities

• Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences
• Configure monitoring for backend services
• Build CICD pipelines
• Develop integrations with our content management system
• Build features and services with reliability in mind

Skills

• 2+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala is required
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST
• A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting
• Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience)
• Experience working with an enterprise content management system
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
• Java experience
• Freemarker experience
• Rust experience
