Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Centre d'Etudes et de Formation pour le Développement (CEFOD) is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The role gathers and analyzes requirements, assesses processes, supports project delivery, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across departments
- Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and business documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and operational teams to deliver effective business solutions
- Conduct data analysis, business performance reviews, and process assessments to support decision-making
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather information and align project objectives
- Support project planning, testing, implementation, and change management activities
- Develop business cases, reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments for business initiatives
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Monitor project outcomes and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate business documentation, process maps, and project records
Skills
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
- Ability to gather, document, and interpret complex business requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and business documentation tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in business analysis, operations, consulting, project coordination, data analysis, or related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous
- Understanding of business process modeling, project management, and system implementation methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred
