[Remote] Business Analyst - Retirement Systems

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. A confidential major investment firm is hiring a Business Analyst to define business requirements and write user stories in collaboration with product, architecture, business, and Agile teams. The role supports SAFe-aligned planning and delivery, process analysis, and validation of solution features.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to gather and refine business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria, maintaining a well-groomed product backlog
• Participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning
• Support the Agile team during iteration planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Analyze and document business processes and workflows; identify areas for improvement
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and goals
• Assist in defining and validating solution features and capabilities during the development cycle

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Experience with defined contributions
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an Agile environment
• Excellent analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
• Preferably in business, engineering or related field
• Significant experience in U.S. retirement industry specifically around recordkeeping retirement plans operations and services
• Related experience in more than one financial services area including wealth management, asset management, investment management, payroll management and banking
• Experience writing Features and User Stories within a SAFe framework
• Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools
