Remote Position

[Remote] Business Development VP/Client Executive

🌍 Remote · United States 💼 Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CREtelligent is hiring a Business Development VP/Client Executive to grow its commercial real estate client base by winning new business for its RADIUS platform and solutions. The role owns prospecting, the full sales cycle, client relationships, and market feedback, while partnering with Marketing and Client Success.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business across a defined territory or vertical (lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, and owner-operators), building a pipeline from first outreach to signed agreement
  • Leverage your existing industry relationships to secure early meetings and at-bats while ramping up on the RADIUS platform and CREtelligent's full solutions suite
  • Own the full sales cycle — identify decision-makers, run discovery, deliver compelling RADIUS platform demonstrations, negotiate terms, and close
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Build lasting relationships with key CRE stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than a vendor
  • Represent CREtelligent at industry events, conferences, and trade association meetings to build visibility and generate new leads
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Client Success to ensure a seamless handoff from prospect to onboarded client, and to inform campaigns and content with real market feedback
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and activity records in HubSpot to support forecasting and reporting
  • Serve as the voice of the market back to CREtelligent — sharing competitive intelligence, client needs, and industry trends that sharpen our product and go-to-market strategy
  • Travel as needed (approximately 30-40%) for client meetings, industry conferences, and regional events

Skills

  • Direct, hands-on experience selling products or services to commercial real estate lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, or owner-operators
  • A demonstrated track record of building and growing a book of business with CRE clients such as lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, or owner-operators — not just closing individual deals, but developing repeat clients and expanding relationships into recurring, growing revenue over time
  • 3+ years of proven success in outside/field B2B sales, business development, or new-business account management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Existing relationships with and credibility among lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, or owner-operators who regularly order due diligence services, which you can activate to open doors and build pipeline quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through close, in a consultative, relationship-driven style
  • Strong communicator and presenter, equally effective in a boardroom, at a conference booth, or on a video call
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy, sets an ambitious bar for themselves, and stays resilient through a long sales cycle
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered

Benefits

  • Fully remote work arrangement
  • Comprehensive extended health care coverage: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, medical transportation plan, critical illness insurance, pet insurance, legal insurance and more
  • 401k and Roth Retirement Plans with employer contribution
  • Uncapped commission, with accelerators for over-quota performance
  • Professional paid time off plan with no tracking and no accruals
  • 12 recognized paid company holidays
  • Off-site adventures, unique traditions, monthly birthday celebrations, Lunch and Learns, and a relaxed, team-first culture
  • Flexibility to structure your week around client meetings, travel, and territory needs

  • Supporting caregiver: 6 weeks of paid leave
  • All full-time employees receive a half day of paid volunteer time off
  • Monthly all-team huddles and quarterly all-hands meetings
