[Remote] Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Buckstop is building an AI-driven intelligence layer for the circular economy by helping enterprises maximize the residual value of electronic hardware. The Business Intelligence / Data Analyst will conduct customer research, analyze and segment datasets, build dashboards, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer case study research to evaluate operational performance and customer impact
• Drive internal customer visibility analysis and cross-functional communication
• Perform data segmentation and attribution analysis across customer and operational datasets
• Define, track, and report on internal performance metrics and KPIs
• Execute data cleaning, transformation, and segmentation routines
• Design, build, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards

Skills

• * Experience in the energy sector
• * At least 3 years of project finance experience
• * At least 3 years professional experience using Python and Excel macros
• * Strong proficiency in data analysis, data cleaning, segmentation, and data visualization
• * Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to stakeholders
• * You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in your approach to problem-solving
• * You enjoy working with raw datasets and turning them into clean, reliable insights
• * You operate with an ownership mindset and can work independently in a fast-paced environment
• * You communicate complex data clearly across teams
• * Experience working at a B2B software company
• * Experience with insurance underwriting and/or risk modeling
• * Experience with user and product engagement modeling
• * Using AI models to generat e verify and confirm financial models
