Remote Chief Credit Officer- Private Lending

Position:Chief Credit Officer / EVP CreditWork Model:Fully remote (Austin TX preferred if local)Schedule:Minimum 40 hours per weekCompensation:$150000$200000 base salary (bonus/equity may be considered depending onstructure and experience)Benefits:PTO; 401(k) match up to 5%; 100% Health Dental and Vision for employee and dependentscovered by employerOverview:This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides executive leadership overunderwriting and credit risk management across the loan lifecycle.You will serve as the final authority forcredit decisions and escalations oversee credit policy and exception frameworks and partner closely withOperations Capital Markets Technology and Servicing to support disciplined growth while maintainingstrong credit quality.Responsibilities Lead the credit risk management function including underwriting strategy credit policy decisioningand ongoing credit quality oversight.Serve as final authority on credit decisions exceptions and escalations including investor andsecondary market credit escalations.Establish maintain and enforce credit policies procedures and exception frameworks aligned to riskappetite and strategic objectives.Manage and develop the underwriting organization (7 direct reports) including performanceexpectations calibration and accountability.Partner cross-functionally with Operations Capital Markets Technology and Servicing to ensureunderwriting execution supports capital markets requirements and saleability.Drive scalable credit processes and controls to support increasing volume (100 units/month todaywith a path to significant growth).Qualifications 7 years of progressive experience in credit underwriting or risk management within mortgage privateequity or commercial lending.5 years in a senior leadership role (SVP/EVP/Head of Department) with decision authority and teamoversight.3 years at a RTL lender (5 preferred).3 years of DSCR or Non-QM lending experience.Proven experience building and enforcing credit policy procedures and exception frameworks.Strong cross-functional partnership experience with Operations Capital Markets and Technology.Experience managing volume of more than 100 units per month.Advanced Excel skills and LOS experience (RTL-related preferred).National Mortgage Staffing (NMS) is a recruiting firm.Our client sets the position requirements and makes all hiringdecisionsThank you for your interest!If your background aligns with our clients needs one of our Recruiters will reach out.Please Check your spam folder and voicemail for messages from our recruiters.Unfortunately due to high volumes of applicants we may not be able to respond to those who are not a fit.If you do not hear from us regarding this application please know we do appreciate your interest and encourage you to continue to keep an eye on our website for new opportunities.Required Experience:Chief Key Skills Cyber Security,Christmas Temporary,Attorney,Inspection,Embedded C Employment Type :Full Time Experience:years Vacancy:1 Monthly Salary Salary:150000 - 200000.
