TEKFORTUNE INC is recruiting for a confidential client seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer to modernize and secure its AWS and GCP cloud firewall environments as it consolidates cloud and on-premise teams. The role will configure and automate AWS firewall infrastructure, strengthen firewall rules and policies, and provide firewall expertise to the team.
Responsibilities
- Come in and understand current state of firewall environment
- Configure and teach new AWS Firewall Environment
- Configure, teach, automate, and securing these environments
- Strengthening best practices in the future
- Dissecting cloud firewalls for inventory
- Upgrade, facelift, and strengthen firewall rules/policy/frameworks
- Routing firewall traffic
Skills
- Extensive AWS WAF
- Configuring an AWS firewall environment from ground up
- Firewall components (load balancing, API, infra as code (IaC) for Automation)
- Hands on configuration of AWS WAF environment
- Security/Firewall first, network second background
- GCP Nice to have
- Palo, checkpoint, other traditional firewalls are nice to have
- Large enterprise experience is beneficial but not a showstopper
